Accessibility Information

Our church is accessible, and used regularly, by people with mobility challenges. We have ramp access to both our church and our halls. On the ground floor of the halls, there is a toilet facility suitable for use by those in wheelchairs. This space also has baby-changing facilities.

The toilet in the church is not suitable for those with mobility challenges.

There is space within the church for wheelchairs to be “parked” or wheelchair users, unable to swap out or their wheelchair and onto a pew or a standard chair, will usually be able to be accommodated in the central aisle, which is broad enough not to be completely obstructed.

Members of the congregation, as well as those serving as Sidespersons or the Wardens, will be happy to help anyone feel comfortable.

CAR PARKING

There is no car park on-site. There is usually just enough on-street parking in our surrounding streets. Wheelchair users, or those with other mobility challenges, may wish to be dropped off outside the church either on Goodmayes Lane, or in Abbotsford Road.

For people using hearing aids, there is an induction loop around the pews on either side of the central aisle. Presently, we do not have anyone who signs, using BSL, during our services.

Guide dogs and other assistance dogs are welcome at our services.

Most of our services, the liturgy, hymns and song words, passages of scripture and incidental graphics are projected onto a large screen. Given a little notice, we will happily produce a large print version of the service. We cannot, currently, offer a Braille copy.
